Replica Super Bowl Lombardi Trophy

reunification

The Lamar-Wolf family is complete again. To the great relief of all the lost wolf Watcher Schnöseline has returned home. All seven were in the morning amicably from Foot Bridge to look. They were not too far and placed on a hill facing the Cache Creek down to sleep. Until this afternoon at 15:30 clock, they have then no longer stirred from the spot. They were last lot, and then lost the excitement of the child. This must be small at first be digested.
Today was again a "Three-Dog-Day" with coyotes and foxes. The otters enjoyed in Trash Can many photographers with their curiosity.

The Wolf Watcher crew this morning by Bob Landis was invited to see his latest movie. It is a film about our Casanova, Wolf 302, "the story of a black wolf." A beautiful film with fascinating photographs, from the Bob seven (!) has turned years. And of course, Casanova is seen in all its beauty and charm.
The film comes out on DVD in April. I will, then when I'm back in the park, some - bring copies and give here, as they can be purchased - signed. Also, I can fix that now from this tour, laminated cards from the Lamar Valley and all wolf locations with special terms with. I will do it again here on the blog's attention.

Gerry has seen from the Nature Trail in all 14 Blacktail both today and tomorrow afternoon. You have deer hunted in vain ..

Today:
7 wolves
2 foxes
three coyotes

I would like to take this opportunity to answer two questions, I have been asked in recent days.

first This time they have very few behavioral observations described. Why?
Although we mainly observed in the winter, the wolves from a distance, so is my ZEISS spotting scope powerful enough to see specific wolf behavior and recorded. About this behavior I will write in my next book. Therefore I would like to simply not go into details. Finally, the voltage to be maintained.

second Could you imagine working for other organizers of nature trips as a guide or would you do for another trip organizer of a wolf?
for over 15 years, I watch the Yellowstone wolves, and do for 10 years, the Wolf trips to Yellowstone. I have high ethical standards to the behavior of the participants. That is why I also have a very good reputation among biologists and may participate in the project. I do before every trip a preliminary meeting to explore the potential participants and to discuss matters with them. I keep my groups with a maximum of 4 participants deliberately small. The demand is huge and I'm looking at the preliminary meeting the Participants from that match in my opinion to the group and are suitable for the observations. All this I can not if I work with an organizer. To ensure

the high level, quality and uniqueness of traveling, so I prefer to remain independent.
