Request Letter For Room Allowance

farewell love coyotes

For almost "tropical" -5 ° C this morning I drove into the park What a relief. Although it was snowing lightly, but there was no wind.
From Pebble Creek, we searched for all the Lamar. Rick had a good signal from them. We could not find them. I assume they were still at their old carcasses. Presumably, they have led the starving Schnöseline there, so that the child finally gets to eat something decent.
I watched for a while three coyotes in Round Prairie. One female and two males. One of the boys was clearly interested in her. She lay very close to their partner, while the interested male stalking slowly. It lacked only a few Meters, because of the coyotes man turned his head to him and looked right at him. As egg con flash shot the angry glance to rivals. The would-be Casanova veeery slowly and carefully turned his head away and lay down in the distance, as if he had never had any dishonest intent. He watched the couple just out of sight angles and strolled to them eventually.
Also on Round Prairie was this big bull bison grass and shoveled to the side. I'm glad that it has become warmer and see the animals so maybe more food again.

noon I went with Brian Connolly, author of Wolf diary , to Mammoth for lunch. On the way there we saw many bison on the road, this time mostly mothers with their children. Quite interesting was this: We drove very slowly through a bison jam with some up to one years old Bison children. When we were almost through and only had a small Bison in front of us, who was about to go to the side, back about a year two came galloping up older siblings and stood directly across the front of our car. You probably saw the small bison in danger. Then they accompanied him to the curb.
bison are fascinating in their social behavior of animals. Time and again we see how they turn a killed family member respect. They gather to sniff it, it, try it, to initiate and move to get up. Then stand around and look at it, as if to say goodbye. Like the elephants, who take their dead family members leave.
I have both the morning and the afternoon of the S-Curve and the Nature Trail Blacktail seen with 13 wolves. These two observation posts are notorious because they are so exposed, that there ever was a strong wind. Long as we could not stand it. We observed the wolves, as they ran through the Blacktail Plateau. Previously they had been chased away a piece of bison. The Buffaloes have no more tolerance for annoying wolves that they stand around in the way or even the Insolence have to want to attack them.
When the Blacktail have finally rolled up to sleep in the snow, I am also drove home.

Confluence on all day otters were seen. And of course we see here every day, the mighty bighorn sheep. The deer, of which I took, is a proud five deer cops who are also a few days ago on Confluence.

Today was a good day for towing services. Many cars have slid into the ditch. When I went earlier to Silver Gate, two cars were in the ditch, one with a snowmobile trailer. All young people who tell me before in a rapid Pace to overtake ...
When I stopped and offered help, she told me that the tow truck was on its way.
Bob Landis also has caught today morning. He came with his car too close to the margins and slipped.
Sometimes I think the snow poles are purposely too far away from the road ...

Today
13 wolves
five coyotes
